About Day Web Design
Day Web Design was started in 1999 to help friends and neighbors with genealogy sites. From these meager beginnings we slowly emerged into the ecommerce fields still working with friends. In 2002 after being told by the Doctors that because of the side effects of Agent Orange I would never be able to work outside the home we decided to go into Web design full time. We started to spend 2 to 3 hours a day learning all aspects of design and continue studying to stay on the cutting edge of technology.
We first learned to code by hand without an editor and continue to do it that way today. We feel it gives us more control over the design and keeps every page lightweight and easy to load. Most of our pages take up half the bandwidth of sites coded with editors. Every site we do is built with the search engines in mind and also designed for the future.
We are a full service custom design company that will provide you, the customer, a site that is not only appealing to the eye but is very functional and easy to maintain.
